Beef And Noodle Chow Mein
This delicious treat is quick and easy to cook so prepare all the ingredients before you begin! For a kid-friendly option leave out the chilli to reduce the heat.
The ingredient of Beef And Noodle Chow Mein
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion cut into wedges
- 1 teaspoon finely grated ginger
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 500g beef mince
- 2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 2 chinese cabbage wombok finely shredded
- 125g green beans trimmed chopped
- 1 carrot peeled cut into matchsticks
- 1 stalk celery sliced
- 227g can water chestnuts drained sliced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 long red chilli seeded chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 400g pkt fresh plain rice noodles soaked drained
- 1 4 cup chopped coriander
- 1 4 cup crushed peanuts optional
The Instruction of beef and noodle chow mein
- heat oil in wok or large frying pan on high stir fry onion ginger and garlic for 1 2 mins until onion is tender
- add mince and curry powder to pan and cook or 4 5 mins until browned breaking up lumps with the back of a spoon
- mix in vegetables water chestnuts stock sauces chilli and sesame oil stir fry for 1 2 mins until cabbage begins to wilt and vegetables are just tender
- toss through noodles and coriander stir fry for 1 min serve sprinkled with peanuts
